PLEASE NOTE - THIS AUCTION WILL END LATE SATURDAY 27th MAY - AS THIS WEEK I AM DOING SATURDAY NIGHT (27th) AND SUNDAY NIGHT (28th) AUCTIONS - WITH SOME AMAZING ITEMS ENDING ON BOTH DAYS!!!!! SO PLEASE READ ON ABOUT THIS AMAZING ITEM BELOW - AND GOOD LUCK IF YOU DECIDE TO BID:-
THE RARITY OF THIS 45:- The Beatles released their first two 45s on the Red Parlophone label. 'Love Me Do' and 'Please Please Me'. And clearly 'Please Please Me' is BY FAR the rarer of the two. For unlike 'Love Me Do (which is VERY common as almost ALL copies were made on the Red Label!), 'Please Please Me' was only available for a TINY amount of time ONLY on the 'Red Label' before it was almost immediately changed to the VERY common Black labels that followed. Around 90% of copies of this 45 were pressed on the Black label - which makes the 'Earliest' 1st Press Red label copies almost impossible to find! SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE BEATLES ALL TIME RAREST 45s EVER, AND ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND NOW!

PRESSING:- 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE - WITH A 'RED' PARLOPHONE LABEL, 'PT' TAX CODE IN THE RUN OFF GROOVES (CORRECTED TO 'MPT' WITH AN ADDED 'M' IN A DIFFERENT FONT!), 'MT' TAX CODE EMBOSSED ON 1 LABEL, 'FIRST PUBLISHED 1963' LABEL TEXT, 'PARLOPHONE COMPANY' LABEL EDGE TEXT, 'MADE IN GT BRITAIN' LABEL TEXT, 1N/1N MONO MATRIX ENDINGS, 'WAVY LINED' COMPANY SLEEVE, AND 1/1 MOTHER CODINGS!

LABELS:- EX+/VG+ (Faint discolouration to 1 label edge, and a single number IMPRESSION (NOT actual writing!) - on 1 label ONLY, which is so VERY faint, it doesnt show up in my pictures, and anyone would struggle to find it - even under light!)
RECORD GRADING:- The record is in GREAT condition! Even under light the record looks BRILLIANT and JET BLACK! It has NO feelable scratches AT ALL, only 3 or 4 light hairlines, only 3 or 4 VERY small scufflines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! The record also plays BRILLIANTLY - with NO skips, NO jumps, barely ANY clicks AT ALL, NO groovewear, NO distortion, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL! The record must grade VG towards VG+ - and is undoubtedly still a very VERY nice record indeed!
COMPANY SLEEVE:- Original 1st Press 'Wavy Lined' Parlophone Company Sleeve in VG++++ condition - with NO splits, NO rips, NO tears, and NO centre hole splits!
