Description
Up for auction is a US promo copy of Penny Lane/Strawberry Fields Forever by The Beatles, released on Capitol, cat no P 5810. This copy includes the withdrawn mix of Penny Lane, featuring an additional brass riff at the end. A well-established Beatle rarity, and one which has always been difficult to find (as some promos include the standard mix of Penny Lane). This 45 has been bootlegged in the past; the copy offered here is guaranteed to be an original pressing.
Condition: well-played, with some scuffs & scratches, but still plays through without jumps or sticks. Some label wear, but no writing or sticker tears. All round G+.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence! Any questions? Need any more photos or an audio sample? I'm only an email away.
Payment: UK- cheques (preferred) or Paypal. Rest Of World- Paypal. Email for other accepted methods of payment. Shipping: £2 (1st class UK), £4.50 (Europe) £6 (rest of world-airmail). Recorded delivery is an additional £1 (UK), £4 (ROW). Check my other auctions; combine orders & save on shipping costs!
