BEATLES Paul McCartney Uncle Albert/Too Many People Full Apples on Both Sides “PUAL”

This 45 is so rare that many collectors don’t even know it exists.  Most collectors are well-familiar with the Winchester variation of this 45, with whole Apples on both labels, and they aren’t seen often enough to notice.  But very few collectors are aware that Jacksonville also issued just a few copies as well.  Collectors are also familiar with the pretty common Jacksonville variation which spells Paul’s name on the sliced Apple side as “Pual” under the production credits.

This copy is the only variation in existence which has the “Pual” spelling typeset onto a full Apple label.  These were scarce on the day of issue.  During my 44 years of collecting, this is the only copy that I have ever seen.  Ask your Beatles collector if they’ve ever seen a “Pual” spelling on the full Apple label.  If they say no, they’re gonna be shocked when they open this gem on Christmas morning.

Vinyl---is an astonishing VG++ both sides.  That means that under normal room lighting, the vinyl looks brilliantly unplayed.  But under the bare bulb, there are extremely scant and light needle lines on both sides that are so hard to detect that you’ll have to spend some time with the 45, to find them.  Those light lines were not there when the 45 left the mint, so I can’t call this one NM.  But man, is it close.

Labels---are beautiful.  Uncle Albert side has a “42” sticker affixed.  Don’t ask me, ask Douglas Adams about that one.

Company Apple sleeve---is present and in good condition.  No splits, some wrinkling and a name written on the inside curved tab.  Some wear around the die-cut hole.
