RARE copy of this much sought after FIRST STEREO UK Beatle album released in 1965!
Hard to find in any condition!
This is the 6th pressing first released in 1965!
Has Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. front laminated cover, with small “stereo” on front. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in UK…” text. Appeared “1963” publishing date only. With KT tax code on the label. Matrix numbers: Side 1: YEX 94-1; Side 2: YEX 95-1.
Sleeve: G+ WELL WORN but cool example of a 1963 laminated original flipback cover! General creasing and wear throughout and writing on the back of the flipback. No tape and spine is intact and readable.
Record: G+
Plays well throughout especially Side 2. There is an area of damage on Side 1 at the ends of Chains. I had to physically advance the record but played fine after. There is crackling/pops intermittently especially on the quieter parts but still an enjoyable listen.
Nice chance to own and enjoy an original UK Beatle classic! It definitely has some issues/wear but is priced accordingly. Probably the only STEREO copy you'll ever find at this price point!
