This is the rare 4th pressing of the Beatles "Please Please Me" UK mono LP.
Side 1 Matrix number XEX 421-1N  Stamper number/marks 1 11 RR0
Side 2 Matrix number XEX 422-1N Stamper number/marks 0 12 R0G
The labels omit the 'Sold in the UK... " text but carry the "Parlophone Co.." rims. There is no "MT" tax/price code on either labels Housed in the front laminated "Ernest J Day & Co" tri-flipback cover.
Carefully played, i have found no deteriation whatsoever to the sound quality with all bands silent. No groove wear to any tracks. Unmarked surfaces with just hints of whispy paper hairlines.
This album will only be sent tracking so shipping will be £5 for the UK & £30 overseas
Nice low start price of £50 to kick things off - worth a heck of a lot more as my gradings are very conservative.
There is only very slight spindle marks to the label on side 2. The vinyl is housed in it's original 'EMITEX" inner which is in excellent condition.
The backsleeve has 2 minor damage points to the bottom flipback, one 3 inches in to the left is a very small tear (so small you can't see it on the picture) and the other is to the bottom right corner flipback edge. No warping or dishing to the vinyl.
I will only grade the record as EX and the sleeve as EX- although i have seen others list this condition as M- & EX+
