BEATLES ORIGINAL UK LP RUBBER SOUL
MONO 1st PRESSING 579-1
Parlophone PMC 1267
This is the very 1st pressing of Rubber Soul with the matrix number 579-1 imprinted on the vinyl on side 1. It is often referred to as the 'Loud Cut' version. We see less and less of these copies coming up for auction.
Vinyl is in Vg+ condition with some wear on both sides which is light with no major scratches. Vinyl plays well.
The Original Ernest Day sleeve is in Vg+ condition. Front has light wear with some creases, slight wear on 2 corners and top edge but nothing major. The back shows general age, a little grubby, the odd mark and slightly brown, no stickers or writing. Flipbacks intact and in reasonable condition. See photos.
The labels are Yellow/Black with Gramophone Co around the rim. It has the 'sold in the UK etc' statement printed across the labels. It has the tax credit KT stamped on the label. They are clean with no marks or stickers on the labels, just some spider marks, graded EX. See Photos

In conclusion :- This is a reasonable copy of this very rare 1st Pressing which shows light general wear but plays well. Clean labels and just general wear to the sleeve and back showing ageing.
All records cleaned with a professional vacuum record cleaning machine and sent to you in card record mailer with stiffener to avoid any damage.
