Description

This is the original UK Double LP by the BEATLES, the WHITE ALBUM, 1968 Stereo on the dark APPLE label PCS 7067 / 8, with "Sold in the UK" label credits, top opener, No. 0437317. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- YEX 709-1, SIDE 2:- YEX 710-1, SIDE 3:- 711-1, SIDE 4:- YEX 712-1. EMI stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 1 / TA, SIDE 2:- 1 / G, SIDE 3:- 5 / HG, SIDE 4:- 4 / TH. The LP comes complete with it's original 4 prints, the original large poster, and the original black inner sleeves.

The original Stereo 1968 UK TOP OPENER fully laminated Garrod and Lofhouse gatefold cover No. 0437317 is in EX++ condition, lovely and clean, with nice crisp sharp edges and corners, and has been obviously well cared for. The spine is fully intact, broad and perfectly readable, the only very very minior distraction is inside the gatefold on the bottom left hand flipback has been creased back over the years and has been carefully stuck back, this is ONLY THE VERY CORNER of the flipback, other than that this cover is a real beauty!, The raised ' The Bealtes' is clear and undamaged with no creasing to the letters, the number on the front and the word 'Stereo' on the back top right hand corner are both clear to see.

The vinyl's are both in superb condition, sides 1 and 2 are in EX condition, and sides 3 and 4 are in EX+++ condition. I have played all four sides (very carefully), and all four sides play a STUNNING MINT-, A ABSOLUTELY SUMPTIOUS Stereo sound!, playing with beuatiful crisp clear clarity, whlist delivering a 'SONIC HEAVEN' warmth and depth, this is no exaggeration at all!, this is 'THE' best stereo copy I have heard for a VERY LONG TIME, A WONDERFUL AUDIO EXPERIENCE, all the quiet tracks play quietly with no crackle!, WOW A AUDIOPHILES and COLLECTORS DREAM!!!!!!!!!!!.

All four APPLE label's are in EX+++ condition, side 1's is slighly faded, thats the only major critisism and can give them, all four label's are lovely and clean and crisp, with no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, the spindal hole's show only minimal wear.

The vinyl's are housed in their original 1968 UK black inner sleeves and are in EX++ condition, their are 2-3 very small 5mm rips at the top opening egde of one of the inner sleeves, very small and not visually intrusive, other than that the original black inner sleeves are in near perfect condition, their is no unwanted writing and no seam splits, the black inner sleeves keep their lovely solid black colour.

The original 4 prints (beware of re-issue prints, slightly lighter in colour) are in MINT- condition!, lovely and crisp and clean with no rips or tears, each print maintain their original bright vibrant colours, BEAUTIFUL condition!.

The original 1968 UK Garrod and Lofhouse credited large poster is in EX+++/MINT- condition, lovely and clean and crisp, their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits, no rips or tears, SUPERB condition!.

Altogether a SUPERB copy of this original Stereo 1968 UK Double LP by the BEATLES, the WHITE ALBUM, lovely condition, and the audio on both vinyl's is simply wonderful!
