Description
Please Please Me - New Zealand mono blue label
This blue label was used from 1964 to around 1968 after the black label was phased out so it is difficult to accurately date this pressing. However it has the correct inner sleeve and they were phased out by 1966 so this is an early pressing. Also , track 4 on side 2 is written on 2 lines and this was changed to 1 line from 1966 onwards.
Matrices are XEX 421 and XEX 422 [assuming this handwritten matrix number is at 6 o'clock , there is a very small RS (initials??) at 3 o'clock]
The correct advertising inner sleeve is still present.
