 Please Please Me- ULTRA ULTRA RARE  New Zealand 1966 STEREO pressing!

                                                                > > >  THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE HOLY GRAIL!!  <<<

This LP was only originally available in mono for at least 2 years before demand from the public finally forced HMV and it's mail order division The World Record Club to release this STEREO LP in either 1965 or early 1966.It is possible that this release on the Young World label from the World Record Club preceded the HMV release so this would be the first stereo pressing available in New Zealand.

The vinyl is still in amazing condition although there are scuffs but it plays well.The labels are in very good condition with only minor spindle hole marks.This pressing is the older style thick vinyl.

The cover shows a minor rip to the outer edge and is fully laminated on the front.The spine is damaged as is the bottom flap.The back cover is clean and free of marks apart from some minor ringwear. The back top flap is slightly damaged.The gold 'WORLD STEREO' sticker is in great condition on the front cover. The correct paper inner sleeve for the World Record Club is in excellent condition.

The overall condition of this LP is VERY GOOD

UK 1st. generation pressing plates used YEX 94-1 and YEX 95-1 (the matrix number can be seen in the first picture) so the sound is IDENTICAL to the first UK release.
