When The Beatles landed at New York’s JFK Airport in February, 1964, they were greeted by thousands of girls singing “We love you Beatles, Oh yes we do….” The boys looked at each other curiously; they had no idea that it was adapted from the musical “Bye Bye Birdie.”

Jumping on the trend, a British group called the Carefrees was hastily assembled and became a one-hit wonder with “We Love You Beatles,” barely making it into the U.S. Top 40. They disbanded before the year was out.

Included in this exclusive package is the MEGA-RARE U.S. issue on London Intl. Records. You get the 45 AND the sleeve, both in NM condition!

Canadian singer Donna Lynn had a little more success—very little. Her only real hit was this one, “My Boyfriend Got a Beatle Haircut,” recorded when she was 14. This is the U.S. release, another obscure one! The label shows wear, but the audio has survived with no issues.

Capitol Records released six Beatles 45s in October 1965 under their Star Line label. “Help” wasn’t one of them. Somebody cleverly mocked this up and it found its way to me, in NM condition. Now it’s your turn to have and to hold. Talk about a one-hit wonder—this may be a ONE OF A KIND! I’m also including a Mint Condition Star Line repro sleeve for display.
