Description

CONDITION OF COVER . . . E+
CONDITION OF DISC . . . . . E+

Really nice-looking copy. The crisp cut-out hole in the top right corner indicates this is a promo. Paul McCartney issued this album in 1977 as a prank. Symphony orchestra version of the Ram LP. Thrillington sold like moldy hotcakes, so it is quite rare. This copy has its original price tag from Richmond's Gary's Record Store. But I knew the owner of this copy, so I am confident this is a bonafide promo that the store was selling without permission. Sort of like what we are doing. (?) Original US pressing (Capital ST-11642).

CONDITION OF COVER: The open shrink wrap has kept the cover in excellent condition: No marks, stains, tears, creases, stickers, writing seam splits, tape or cut-out marks. The shrink wrap is all intact. Mild ring dishing, but no speckling. Minimal corner banging. Good sharp print & rich, unfaded color. Unblemished spine print is fully readable. Purple Capital label is slighly mottled from dryness, but still looks fine. Spindle hole is in very good condition.

CONDITION OF DISC: No scratches, skips or surface scuffs. There is a slight loss of rainbow which has apparently been caused by age, not needle wear. No warps. Listener is unlikely to detect any truly bothersome surface noise. Sleeved in a protective poly inner sleeve. (Matrix # ST-1-11642 JA 4).
