Well, this happens to be the only release with ALL tracks in 'true stereo' as opposed to duophonic on the rest of the pack. Not even the highly acclaimed 'Original Master Sound / MFSL version can say they contain all tracks in true stereo.
Again: this German HÖRZU version is the only LP release that has all tracks recorded in full true stereo, i.e. for the first time also Penny Lane and Baby You're a rich Man ...
Note this is also the rare German Export version sold in the French market, as you can see by the beautiful round British flag style sticker on the front top right stating "Import - Pathe Marconi EMI" ...
Beautiful cover, original inner sleeve, and vinyl all in pristine NEARMINT/MINT condition - best copy I have seen in many years!
Having played this LP once on high-end equipment with a Koetsu Rosewood system, I can only attest to the astonishing clarity of this version. It does indeed live up to the hype it has garnered over the years within the audiophile community. There is a sublime richness found, particularly in the cellos on Walrus, Strawberry Fields, and All You Need Is... it practically leaps out of the speakers almost 3-dimensionally. "Walrus" contains the 6-beat intro truncated to 4 on other editions. Don't miss this extremrly rare LP, not many of these around anymore in such fantastic condition.
