This is a BEATLES Box Set by MOBILE FIDELITY SOUND LABS ( MFSL ). These LP's are made of Super Virgin Vinyl and were Half-Speed Mastered by JVC Japan. This remains the state of the art in Audiophile Beatle's pressings today! It is long out of print and highly sought after.
This set contains the 14 LP's , the MFSL Box, the GeoDisc, the original Booklet, and the original Certificate of Authenticity that comes in the booklet. Everything that originally came in the box set is here.
All vinyl is Near Mint (it looks unplayed), all LP covers, booklet and box are Near Mint. The original MFSL sleeves and LP insert are in each sleeve. The box has the lightest of visible wear (see pics). Overall you would be hard pressed to find a better set!
I have play graded this set as Near Mint or better (superb). The vinyl is among the quietest I have ever heard, bar none! The pressing, sonics and recordings are crazy good! As well as enjoying music, I am an Audiophile. I have compared this box set to the other individual MFSL Beatles pressings I have, and these are clearly superior. As far as the newly remastered Beatles Stereo Cd box set which I also have,... I compared these new CD's to this MFSL Box Set. Wow! They are very different. The soundstage on this vinyl is bigger, and more enveloping than the Cd's. There is simply, a heck of a lot more ambiance and spatial info. on this vinyl than the Cd's. Frankly, I was suprised at the disparity, ..... the MFSL Box Set wins. If you are into Analog, and the Beatles, I don't think it gets much better then this.
You will be surprised at exactly how much detail is on the original Beatles tapes. I have never paid much attention to the earlier Beatles stuff because I was never impressed much by the sound. This set was a surprise. Those early Beatles LP's do sound very good here!

On Nov-03-11 at 14:42:38 PDT, seller added the following information:Looking at the bottom of the box, (underside), there is some wear to the original felt-like bottom covering. This would be from movement and/or age. You won't see this unless you turn the box upside down, and it's pretty normal for these boxes, but I wanted to point it out anyway.
