The Beatles - Let It Be

(Apple PXS 1 UK Box Set 1970)

This is the original UK box set in great condition! It has a fully laminated outer slip-sleeve. It also comes complete with both its original inner card trays. The excellent book is also present & is in great overall condition too. The record sleeve is fully laminated & has an ultra thin spine. It has a red Apple logo on the rear of the sleeve. It comes complete with its original plain paper inner sleeve. Interestingly the previous owner has added a lttle bit of their own psychedelic art to the plain inner sleeve - I think this was done at the time & adds a little bit of period charm. The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has dark green Apple labels which have an outer ridge. The matrix numbers are YEX 773-2U & YEX 774-3U. The mother stampers are GMM 1 6 & GTM 2 4. A true UK original pressing with the correct matrix numbers. Complete & in lovely overall condition. These are starting to totally dry up now so don't miss out!

Outer Sleeve: There is a slight crease, 5mm from the top, that runs along the front sleeve. There is a 2cm seam split at the bottom-right corner. There is also some light rubbing wear to the other corner tips & the left opening edge. A strong VG+ condition

Card Trays: The outer card tray is complete & in very reasonable condition. There is some rubbing wear to the side edges. VG condition. There are no tears. The inner card tray, which houses the book, has a small tear to the flimsy bottom part which disconnects it on one side. There is also a couple of small tears to the top - but it is still attached. Good condition. This is the flimsiest part of the whole package!

Book: Overall very nice! It is totally complete & has only one loose page. The front & back are in great condition. All other pages are tightly bound & have no rips, tears or creases. Again this book is pretty susceptible to wear & lots of loose pages. This is a great overall copy! Very NEAR EX condition

Sleeve: Overall very nice! There is some mild rubbing wear to the corner-tips & a lttle bit of light rubbing wear at the bottom quarter of the sleeve opening. There is also a very small bit of laminate peeling on the rear. There is also two tiny bits of tape residue at the rear sleeve opening - barely notices. A strong VG+ condition

Vinyl: Very nice indeed! Just some light sleeve rubs that can only be seen under a strong light. NEAR EX condition. I have play tested this LP in its entirety & it plays very near excellently. The labels are lovely & clean & show mild spindle wear only.

PLEASE SEE MY OTHER ITEMS - LOTS OF RARE & QUALITY VINYL! MOST ARE U.K. 1st PRESSINGS. IT IS QUITE LIKELY THAT THERE WILL BE MORE RECORDS BY THIS ARTIST OR RECORDS IN A SIMILAR VEIN.

ALL GRADING IS VERY STRICT & ADHERES TO 'RECORD COLLECTOR' SPECIFICATIONS. HOWEVER I HAVE FINE TUNED THEM & THEY ARE EXPLAINED BELOW. ALL VINYL IS EXAMINED CLOSELY UNDER A STRONG LIGHT & PLAY TESTED

MINT Condition = AS good as a copy you would buy from a shop, immaculate!

NEAR MINT Condition = Very nearly mint just slightly under, maybe a couple of very, very light paper sleeve scuffs that can only be seen under strong light. SOME WOULD CLASS THIS AS MINT. This disc has been played a couple of times at most. Cover is virtually perfect - very minimal wear only.

EX Condition = A clean & tidy copy that shows virtually no defects. Maybe one or two light needle scuffs or light sleeve removal marks that can only be seen under strong light. There will be no scratches. Play will be near perfect with no distortion. Cover will be very nice with maybe very minimal creasing, ringwear or edgewear.

NEAR EX Condition = You can tell this record has been played a few times but it has been well cared for. There will be minor surface marks only; that barely detract from the sound quality. Cover may have slight creasing or ringwear. A very serviceable copy that you will be pleased with.

VG Condition = A well played but serviceable copy. There will be a few marks on the vinyl, but they won't be nasty scratches, just relatively light needle scuffs and sleeve removal marks, they will be noticeable but won't detract from play too much. Cover will show signs of storage/ ageing, e.g., creasing, slight folding, spinewear, ringwear or sticker tears. The record will not be trashed!!
