Description
RARE IMPORT - EMI Parlophone RP 5675 Beatles "Lady Madonna" b/w "The Inner Light" picture disc released in 1988 in the UK. Starting in 1982, EMI started releasing picture discs of the original Beatles Parlaphone/Apple UK singles on their 20 year EMI release anniversaries. EMI only issued 2 original Beatles singles with picture sleeves, so most of the picture discs are very collectible since it's the first time images have been associated with the original UK singles.
22 picture discs were released in all (one for each of the Beatles original UK Parlophone/Apple 1962~1970 singles). Each picture disc was released sequentially 20 years after the original EMI release date. The picture disc is in Mint condition and appears to never have been played. The sleeve is a clear plastic with an rigid rear insert advertising the release of the Beatles Past Masters Vol. 1 and 2 CDs on EMI Parlophone.
Condition - MINT No signs of play (no scratches, scuffs, or hairlines). Looks brand new. I use the grading standards from the Cox/Daniels Beatles Price Guide; these standards tend to be more stringent than Goldmine. In this case, both price guide grades are the same since this is new and unplayed.
Payment in full is due within 3 calendar days of the end of the auction. This item will be shipped in a rigid cardboard mailer for protection during transportation.
