Vinyl is STILL SEALED and presumed mint.
The sealed cover is EX+ on this original Apple AR 34001 pressing. It has breathe holes in the shrink as originally designed. The only imperfections are a couple of the corners have a slight break thru on the shrink wrap. The sticker is on the shrink wrap and not the cover.
This was originally owned by a former Capitol Record exec who later worked for Warner Elektra Atlantic. His name card printed on a WEA postcard will be included in the package.
Very few of these Christmas sticker albums (apparently only found on copies of Sgt. Pepper, Magical Mystery Tour, The White Album, Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road & Let It Be) have turned up. I do believe these were never put into shops and only used internally at Capitol/Apple, making it the rarest (hype) sticker on any Beatles album.
This particular copy has been appraised by the auction house that sold Ringo's personal collection a few years ago, for $800 - $1200. While I personally believe that is too high at this point in time, perhaps that means there is still "room at the top" for such a rare item. Nevertheless, I have decided to list it at a much lower price.
