BEATLES ~ LET IT BE
(Apple, PCS 7096, ORIGINAL UK 1970 1st PRESSING STEREO LP, LIMITED EDITION BOX SET )
Matrix / Run-outs:
(side 1): YEX 773 - 2U / 1 6 AR
(side 2): YEX 774 - 2U / 6 MT
This is the ORIGINAL EARLY 1st PRESSING form of the release including an outer cardboard sleeve, an inner tray (NOT included here!) and a 164 page book, titled "The Beatles Get Back". Deleted December 1970 and replaced with normal LP format without the book.
Original 1st press copies has the Red Apple logo on rear laminated cover, while -2U/-2U matrix stamps appear in the vinyl runout area.
Outer carboard sleeve: EXC(-) with typical slight aging, a slight mark line on rear and some edge wear, NO splits, NO pen marks or writing, NO bumps or dents, NO creases or tears!
Vinyl: looks much played with lots of hairlines under strong light, NOT any deep or feelable scratch or mark, retains its lot of its gloss & lustre, disc play tested, sounds clear and loud VG(+)/VG+, "KT" tax code on B side!
Side A has occasional slight background clicking on places, and some slight surface noise audible in more quiet or acoustic passages on A4 and A6 tracks, NOT overwhelming though!
Side B has several slight occasional clicks and ticks, sounds great!
Cover: VG(+), fully laminated, with few wrinkles and slight creases on laminate, a 2" inch fraying/split in bottom seam! Spine is intact!
Book: glossy G(+), due to weak binding with outer cover separated from spine. Also most of pages are not attached on spine, or ready to separate, needs careful use!
Unfortunately, there's NO inner tray included...
