Description

IF YOU ARE A BEATLES COLLECTOR AND WANT SOMETHING MADE IN INDIA, WHERE THE BAND SPENT SOME TIME, HERE'S YOUR CHANCE FOR A DOUBLE LP IN GREAT CONDITION - RARE FOR INDIAN PRESSINGS - AND AT A REASONABLE STARTING PRICE.....

THE BEATLES - 1967-1970

THIS PARLOPHONE  DOUBLE LP - PCSP 718 -  HAS MINT SIDES 1 & 2 WHILE 3 & 4 ARE MINT-

THE COVER IS EX AND THE INNER SLEEVES ARE PLASTIC/POLYTHENE.

BOTH THE COVER AND LABELS STATE 'MADE IN INDIA'

I BOUGHT THIS IN INDIA WHILE SEARCHING FOR 78s (SEE REST OF LISTING) BUT I AM NO BEATLES EXPERT, SO DON'T UNDERSTAND LABEL OR COVER VARIATIONS. FOR EXAMPLE WHY ONE LP IS PARLOPHONE AND THE OTHER EX. BOTH FRONT AND BACK COVER CARRY THE SAME PICTURE. I AM HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS WANTING MORE DETAILS OF EITHER THE COVER OR THE LABELS...

I have graded them using the Record Collector grading system (see below) I have played the beginning of each side and also where there is any minor blemish, noting any defect in the description. The record is graded first, then the cover - example Ex+/Ex

PACKING: records will be sandwiched between thick pieces of cardboard so that each package is about an inch thick.

POSTAGE:  (UK) £3 for first LP, then £1 for each extra. Valuable packages must be sent recorded (£1 extra) and/or insured.

(EUROPE) £5 for 1st LP, then £2 for extras. Double albums £7. Packages more than £40 must be insured for an extra £5. (max 2 kilos)

I AM ALSO A 78 RPM COLLECTOR, AGAIN OCCASIONALLY SELLING OFF SURPLUS. SO KEEP LOOKING IF INTERESTED in 78s AND CONTACT ME WITH ANY QUERIES - rocking78s@btopenworld.com

GOOD LUCK !

CONDITION GRADING (SUMMARY WITH + AND – SIGNS GIVE MORE DETAIL)

MINT (Mint) M- The record looks virtually unplayed. Cover is near perfect.

EX (Excellent) The record has been played, but is still very shiny, with very little lessening in  sound quality. The cover may have slight wear and/or creasing.

VG (very good) The record has obviously been played many times, but shows no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
