Description
This is an original pressing of The Beatles "A Hard Days Night" on the black United Artists record label. It has "I'll Cry Instead" in the label and "I Cry Instead" on the back of the cover. This Stereo pressing album does NOT have any mention of "Publishing Rights" for "This Boy" or "I'll Cry Instead" on the back. The only one I've ever seen like that. According to Perry Cox's Price Guide, the cover should have publishing rights to "This Boy" and/or "I'll Cry Instead" on the back.
The album still has shrink wrap on it. There is a hole in the shrink wrap next to where the "publishing rights" should be. No surface wear appears on the pictures on the front of the cover or back of the cover.
The record jacket is graded at MINT 8 which includes the front, seams and spine. The back of the cover is VG+ due to some shading on the left side by the mouth of the jacket.
The record is graded at MINT 9 on one side and VG++ on the other (for 6 light, thin, streaks that appear almost transparent under a light bulb). The record has 99% shiny, glistening unblemished black vinyl!!
