Just to up date-

Some more details about the 'Hey Jude' Album-

The original album was released in U.S.A. in February 1970.
It was eventually released in the UK in 1979 on the silver Parlophone label with two EMI marks.

There were two differant kinds of sleeves for the export "CPCS 106" album.
One has the title and the number printed at the top of the cover while the other one has not.

1st Press released 6th March 1970, (P-CPCS-106) Silver Parlophone label with One EMI mark logo
2nd Press released 1971, (CPCS-106) Dark Apple label
3rd Press released 1973, (CPCS-106) Light Apple label

Some copies mistakenly spell "Revolution"  "Revolutions" (with an S)

The title for the export album on the Apple label is "HEY JUDE!"  the title for the release in 1979 on the silver Parlophone label is "HEY JUDE" without the exclamation mark, the Apple logo on the bottom left of the back cover of the 1979 release was also removed.
