Another from my personal collection of Beatles records, Collected over a period of more than 35 years! I have accumilated more than a 1000 Beatles albums alone (mainly UK pressings)!! This particular 1st UK copy is particularly sought after,being one of the earliest, look M.T. tax code stamped on side 1 (normaly seen with the K.T. tax code!! Also the added rarety and very rare to find this album with the E.Day flipback cover, normaly seen with the more common Garrod & Lofthouse cover, even rarer is the awesome top condition of the playing surface, normaly seen played to death but this plays almost perfect on my systems, (unbeleivably rare to find)!!  played at very loud volume on a top system prior to listing using a dedicated mono  cartridge, this audio is awesome throughout cristal clear and very vibrant without distortion and no clicks or pops throughout the audiothe awesome top quality audio which I would grade at least excellent plus to very near mint throughout, any static in between tracks is very minimal!!

A HARD DAY'S NIGHT is the third album by the Beatles, released in the UK on 10 July 1964 as the soundtrack to their first film of the same name. The album was released on 26 June in the U.S. by United Artists Records with a slightly different tracklisting!!

While showcasing the development of the band's songwriting talents, the album sticks to the basic rock and roll instrumentation and song format. It is notable as the first Beatles album to feature entirely original compositions (and the only one with a song catalogue credited entirely to Lennon-McCartney). Some of the more famous songs on the album include the title track (with its distinct, instantly recognizable opening chord), and the catchy "Tell Me Why" and "Can't Buy Me Love", the latter of which was also a transatlantic number one single for the band. It also features "And I Love Her", the first of Paul McCartney's distinctive and popular ballads. The album and film are said to portray the classic image of the Beatles, as it was released at the height of Beatlemania!!.

The title of the album (and of the film) is said to have been the accidental creation of drummer Ringo Starr, though the phrase is used in John Lennon's contemporary book "In His Own Write" and was reputedly used at least once by him during the Hamburg era!!.

Side one of the LP contains the songs from the movie soundtrack. Side two contains songs recorded for, but not included in, the film, although a 1980s rerelease of the movie includes a prologue before the opening credits with "I'll Cry Instead" on the soundtrack. This is also the first Beatles album to be recorded on four-track tape, allowing for good stereo mixes. Despite this, the CD of this album is currently available only in mono, though many of the tracks appeared in stereo on CD for the first time with the release of the boxset The Capitol Albums, Volume 1 in 2004!!.

 THIS VINYL IS OF THE HEAVIER AND THICKER TYPE OF VINYL WITH DEEPER AND MUCH MORE ROBUST THAN THE LATER PRESSINGS WHICH ARE MORE FLIMSIER!!!! ONLY IN STRONG LIGHT COULD POSSIBLY ANY\VERY FEW ONLY WHISPY SURFACES MARKS BE SEEN MAINLY CAUSED FROM THE VINYL BEEN SLID IN AND OUT OF ITS SLEEVE..  I WOULD CLASS MYSELF AS HIGHLY CRITICAL (PLEASE LOOK AT MY COMPLETED SALES TRANSACTIONS OF THIS CALABER AND YOU WILL SEE THAT I NORMALLY GET IT RIGHT!!!  IMPORTANTLY THERE ARE (NO) AUDIO SOUNDING MARKS OR SCRATCHES ON THIS PLAYING SURFACE!!!

THE AUDIO QUALITY 

I HAVE VERY CAREFULLY PLAYED THIS VINYL TRACK FOR TRACK FOUR TIMES AT VERY LOUD VOLUME ON A TOP SYSTEM PRIOR TO LISTING WITH A DEDICATED MONO CARTRIDGE!!

 AN IMPORTANT NOTE IS THAT THE AUDIO IS CRISTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT THROUGHOUT AND THERE IS (NO) SIGNS OF GROOVEWARE OR THAT THIS HAS BEEN OVERPLAYED WHAT SO EVER!!!! THE AUDIO IS TRULY BRILLIANT IT'S CRISTAL CLEAR AND VIBRANT EVEN BETWEEN TRACKS ANY STATIC INTERFEARANCE IS VERY MINIMAL THIS PLAYS ALMOST PERFECT ON MY SYSTEMS I WOULD SAY ALMOST AS GOOD AS IT GETS,  (NO) LOUD CLICKS OR POPS IMPORTANTLY (NO) DISTORTION (NO) SKIPS OR JUMPS!   (SO RARE FOR A VERY EARLY 1ST PRESSING)!!!!! (GENUINE 43 YEARS OLD) !!!!!! I WOULD GRADE THE AUDIO AS TRULY SUPERBE AT THE VERY TOP ON ALL FREQUENCIES!!!!! WITH (NO) SIGNS OF GROOVEWARE OR THAT THIS HAS BEEN OVERPLAYED AT ALL!!!I MUST EMPHISE THAT THE AUDIO IS TRULY STUNNING THROUGHOUT ON ALL FREQUENCIES AUDIO IS GRADED AT THE VERY TOP!!GRADED AT LEAST  EXCELLENT PLUS TO VERY NEAR PERFECT\NEAR MINT THROUGHOUT!
