RARE original PROMOTIONAL pressing of Cloud Nine on vinyl from 1987 on Dark Horse with SRC (Specialty Records Corporation) logo stamped in the dead wax, silver Got My Mind Set On You hype sticker, full color glossy printed inner sleeve and promotional text in the top left hand corner on the front cover in customary gold lettering!!!  LP is a gorgeous VG++/NM-.  Cover is a beautiful VG++.  A high grade copy of this rarity in collector condition.  You will not be disappointed.  Auction also includes a 1987 Dark Horse SR Dolby HX Pro copy on cassette!  Auction also includes two of the LP's attendant singles, both also from 1987.  Got My Mind Set On You/Lay His Head 45 is a gorgeous near mint minus.  Sleeve is a beautiful VG++ with barely a hint of ring.  When We Was Fab/Zig Zag 45 is also a gorgeous near mint minus.  Sleeve is also a beautiful VG++.  Auction also includes an ULTRA RARE original rigid, two-sided 12 X 12 in-store promotional display put out by Dark Horse in 1987 with promotional text at the bottom and album cover image on the rear!!!  I purchased this many years ago from the former manager of Tower Records here in Chicago who was a massive Beatles fan and decided to rescue this one from the Tower wall for her own private collection (which was staggeringly impressive).  She told me that 99% of these displays were either tossed after they were displayed or never displayed at all and then tossed.  Tower staff saw them as disposable swag and clutter and as a result very few survived from the 1980s.  These are the kinds of items Beatles collectors are going to be fighting over in the very near future so don't sleep.  You will never see another lot like this again.
