1964 UK *STEREO** 1st PRESSING
**SUPERB EX++ EARLY COPY**
This superb 1964 STEREO 1st pressing is on the UK black & yellow Parlophone label: PCS 3062
Side 1. label includes the 'Sold in UK..' the text and 'Parlophone Co Ltd...' rims.
Housed in a front laminated, internal-flipback gatefold cover.
Matrix numbers: YEX 142-1 & YEX 143-1
Stamper numbers: 4/PO & 7/OL

Both surfaces are bright and glossy; undulled by 'bag-rash', overplay or careless handling.
Careful inspection under a halogen desk lamp reveal just the odd wispy paper hairlines, but no scuffs, marks or scratches.
Quality sharp edged vinyl which lies 100% flat on the turntable without dishing or warping.

Cover: VERY GOOD +
The delicate front panel is in fine shape; displaying just a few small creases and light wrinkles to the spine.
There is slight storagewear to the corners and edges also bear some light wear.
The rear panel is bright and glossy with some light wrinkles to the lower edge. The inside is clean and black with no marks or writing.
The internal 'flipbacks', all seams are undamaged with no stress, splits, missing paper or laminate.The seam has come unglued on one edge (easy to repair!!!)

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
BAD: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

Delivery:
All items are posted recorded delivery so both parties are covered. They will be trackable and posted within appropriate strengthened envelopes/boxes. I try to recycle all postage materials where possible to be as environmentally friendly as possible and to keep P&P costs down.
