This is a glorious copy of US Vee Jay's last gasp at milking the four Beatles tracks they contracted for before Beatlemania took the world by storm and before Vee Jay's contract ran out on October 10, 1964. * But alas, this in a counterfeit. These counterfeits of the LP first appeared in the late 1970s, and can easily be identified by their lack of any spine writing, and a black background instead of dark blue or purple like the originals. Because of this, it is still a rarity at 40 years old but if have low-balled the price accordingly.
Stored vertically in a smoke-free environment for 40 years
PS - I know a collector who is a Beatles completest and who has at least 15 variations of counterfeit copies of this LP. Oh yeah!!
