Description

An excellent condition example of the original 1964 EMI UK reel to reel 3 & 3/4 ips mono tape release of "Beatles For Sale" by The Beatles complete with "Emitape" leaflet, the packing slip. Cat No TA-PMC-1240.  Released at the same time as the original vinyl album in 1964.

Clean, intact lid and base, intact and unbroken spool (one of two "Emitape" four spoke types used on Beatles reels, each with different slot orientations - one with the central Emitape labels - one without)), clear printed red Part 1 leader tape and red trailing Part 2 leader tape, no pen markings/writing, no stains/marks to lid/base. Rare purchases in comparison to the vinyl LP in the 1960s, usually by audiophiles wanting top quality sound. Please see all photographs.

Played and tested - perfect.  Emitape leaflet, packing slip and small green and gold Parlophone logo sticker to Emitape spool.
