This auction is for a very rare pressing of the Beatles single 'Hey Jude / Revolution'. This is the mega rare EXPORT pressing and is on the Parlophone label!

When this single was released in the UK it was issued on the newly formed Apple label. However, EMI also pressed a very small, limited run of copies that were intended for export only. These copies appeared on the Parlophone label and, I'm going to assume here, were intended for export to countries where Apple was not yet registered as a record label. Seeing as this one is in a Swedish issue picture sleeve, I'm assuming that this is where this copy was exported to.

One thing to note is that the tax code on the side 2 label, in the pushout, is MKT. I've never seen this before on an export copy of Hey Jude. The MKT transition taxcode came out in mid '63, so by 1968 it should have long been put out of service. But, here you go!

A nice example of this exceptionally rare export pressing!
...

Picture Sleeve : FAIR/GOOD

The original company sleeve is included but is in a pretty poor shape. It looks pretty clean with not too much creasing, but there's a lot of wear along the mouthedge and the seams are all pretty torn. Still, it's rare to find the single with this sleeve, regardless of condition!   Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG++

The playing surface has a really nice, decent shine to it and has some light scuffing and surface marks, but nothing at all serious or deep. Looking really good!.
.

Labels : EX-

The labels are looking really clean with bright, silver text. There's some light wear and spindlewer, and a little whitening around the centrehole as you can see in the photos above, but nothing serious. Nice labels!
