PLEASE NOTE - this week my auction listings, will look slightly different! This is because I have absolutely LOADS of items to list, and this is the quickest way to list them - whilst still retaining ALL the very important detail on condition, rarity etc (see all details below!). RARITY:- This is almost certainly the RAREST pressing of this LP EVER made! Have you EVER seen another one? IT HAS:-
1) A UK 1ST PRESS COVER
2) UK LABELS - THESE ARE CLEARLY UK LABELS. THE PRINTING IS PERFECT AND EXACT - DEFINITELY UK LABELS!
3) YET THE LABELS HAVE NO COUNTRY MENTIONED!
4) THE RECORD HAS 1G/1G UK STAMPED MATRIXES IN THE RUN OFF GROOVES!
5) THE RECORD HAS UK 1/GA 1/GA MOTHER & STAMPER CODINGS IN THE RUN OFF GROOVES - YET STRANGELY THESE ARE ON 1 SIDE!
6) THE RECORD HAS 'E1' ETCHINGS ON THE RUN OFF GROOVES
7) THE RECORD HAS PCS 7016 A & PCS 7016 B ETCHED ON THE RUN OFF GROOVES.
I CAN ALSO TELL YOU THAT THIS LP WAS BOUGHT IN JAMAICA IN THE LATE 1960s / EARLY 1970s AND CAME TO ME WITH A LARGE REGGAE COLLECTION. SO THIS MUST HAVE BEEN AN EXPORT TO UK COLONIES / ISLANDS / COMMONWEALTH AT THE TIME. WHAT IS CERTAIN HOWEVER - IS THAT THIS RECORD IS VERY VERY RARE INDEED, WITH ONLY 300 COPIES OR LESS EVER MADE!

RECORD GRADING:- The record is in GREAT condition and is VERY bright & shiny looking indeed! It has NO scratches, only 3 or 4 light hairlines, only 3 or 4 VERY light scufflines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK! The record plays with NO pops, barely ANY clicks, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO distortion, barely ANY crackle AT ALL, and only some VERY low level background sound on the run on grooves & gaps - NOT in the music AT ALL! The record must grade Very Good if not Very Good+ - and is a very VERY decent record indeed!
INNER SLEEVE:- Plain.SLEEVE:- The ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition! The cover has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour!), NO splits, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), NO rips, NO tears, VERY shiny laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing! The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL (with some possible fractional evidence of trimming here)! Even the back of the cover is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness, NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing! The cover must grade Very Good++ if not better - and is a very VERY decent cover indeed!
