BEATLES BUTCHER COVER 3RD STATE #3 PEELED

Is it  really possible to buy a Genuine 100% Authentic 1966 Capitol Records Beatles Butcher Cover  that doesn't look like piece of crap for less than $2000, $1000 or even $800 ? Read On...

This is a great price on a genuine 1966 peeled Butcher Cover that is in displayable condition at a small fraction of what some Butcher Covers have been selling for. If you are looking for exaggerated condition and exclamation  points, you won't find it here. I have sold many Butcher Covers  at great prices and my buyers have nothing but nice things to say except for one buyer who never complained about condition , ignored a full refund  and then posted negative after requesting items that weren't included in the auction . So please , I request that if you have questions or aren't sure , please dont  bid . I don't play games and only request the same in return. I offer prompt shipping and deliver what I promise every time.

Up for auction is an authentic 1966  #3 Capitol Records  Scranton, PA  maufactured 3rd State (Peeled) Butcher  Cover with the peeled trunk slick, mono record and inner sleeve and t-shirt . Yes, this is 1000% the real deal so please don't email asking if this is a reproduction. If you look closely, you can clearly see the Scranton PA tell tale glue lines. Regardless, Ebay buyer protection guarantees your satisfaction and so do I . If you don't like it, return it in the condition that you received it for a full refund.

This one is in nice condition with minor condition considerations. Please read the auction text carefully before bidding.  Nice Condition Peeled (2nd state) Butcher Covers have recently commanded prices in the thousands on Ebay. I've placed a modest reserve on this and a reasonable Buy It Now price for those who don't want to fight it out for the duration of the auction. My last Butcher Cover was also nice and sold quickly on Buy It Now  so if you are interested, bookmark the auction and keep an eye on it. This is a great price on a peeled butcher that is in collectible condition that would be very costly to upgrade. Take and chance on this Butcher Cover and give it a good home.

Auction is for the Butcher Cover, removed trunk slick, mono record, inner sleeve and t-shirt size Adult XL..

As I said in the introduction, there are a few minor condition issues on this Butcher and although it isn't in near mint condition, it is a very presentable VG example . The colors and fleshtones are deep with nice reddish tones. The included vinyl record shows some scratches and I give it a conservative visual G grade. Inner sleeve is the Scranton olive issue, which like the goldenrod 1966 inner, was issued with some pasteover covers  and has typical splitting but is otherwise decent. Many people only dream of owning a genuine treasure such as this and are willing to tolerate a few condition issues in order to save several hundred dollars. The most important part, which is the Butcher Slick, is nice with no sightly visible large tears or screw ups. This Butcher slick exhibits minimal Capitol factory brownish glue lines and some residue that is typical on Scranton peels. Minor to average overall age tanning throughout  the borders and back. The back of the jacket has light to average staining /wear/age spotting and a few small pen or pencil marks. The removed trunk slick is included but not perfect with wear and tear and missing a small piece at the very bottom. It appears that this was a tenacious peel  but the good news is that this one's a keeper and a genuine peeled Butcher Cover in nice condition.

Top seam is solid  with light paper wear near the end of the seam. and clean with no visible splits. Bottom seam is complete with a  cleanly closed seam crack from the last 5" to the end. Spine retains most of the lettering with some checking and cracking throughout with a few tiny pieces of paper missing near the bottom quarter. Top white borders around the butcher slick show some glue residue, some browning/abrasions where the butcher slick was originally adhered to the top .

But Hey, it's a real 1966 Butcher Cover and as nice if not better than some of the peels that you generally see that sell in the $600 - $800 range .This is a guaranteed original 1966 Capitol 3rd state Butcher cover and NOT a reproduction, bootleg or counterfeit. Your Butcher Cover will be professionally packed in a Japanese style protective sleeve.

Free Shipping through the US  only. Payment is to made within 3 days of auction end. I will ship this internationally but buyer must pay for international express. International buyers are responsible for all duty taxes which can be expensive. This is a used jacket being sold in "as is" condition. This auction and this auction is stricly for the actual items seen and described.Happy Bidding !
