RARE 1st UK PRESS STEREO

Prima rara stampa inglese in STEREO. Copertina interamente laminata fronte e retro stampata da "Garrod And Lofthouse International Ltd.". Etichetta nera con mela verde intera su un lato e con mela tagliata a metà sull'altro con scritte verdi e nere. Per la prima volta NON presenta in alto la scritta in orizzontale ''Sold In U.K. Subject To Resale Price Conditions, See Price Lists''. Matrici nel trail-off lato A YEX 749 2; lato B YEX 750 1; non riporta la traccia ''Her Majesty'' ne' sulla copertina ne' sull'etichetta come solo nella prima stampa. Il logo APPLE con la mela verde sul retro in basso a sinistra è allineato ai brani della facciata 1. La versione non allineata (misaligned) è valutata oggi dai 100 euro a salire. Copia completa di inner sleeve originale bianca "made in Great Britain". Primo disco dei BEATLES pubblicato esclusivamente in STEREO, sara' l'ultimo del gruppo ad essere registrato, (anche se ''Let It Be'', registrato antecedentemente a questo, venne pubblicato solo nel 1970 e  quindi posteriormente ad "Abbey Road"). Un album di proporzioni enormi. Da un punto di vista concettuale anticipa l'arrivo del progressive, presentando una lunga suite sul lato 2. Con le armonie vocali i BEATLES giungono qui al punto massimo della loro carriera. Brani quali ''Because'' o ''End'' dimostrano come nell'utilizzo delle voci il gruppo non fosse inferiore a nessun'altro. Si assiste  per la prima volta all'utilizzo del moog, sintetizzatore analogico allora futuribile. Le composizioni sono straordinarie tutte, sia come qualita' che come originalita' e  presentano ora potenti tocchi heavy di chitarra insieme a surreali pennellate acustiche di 6 e 12 corde. Non poteva esservi modo migliore per chiudere il decennio e la straordinaria parabola artistica dei FAB FOUR. (Come Together; Something*; Maxwell's Silver Hammer; Oh! SS     The record is Still Sealed

Near Mint     The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

Excellent     The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing

Very Good     The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

Good     The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration, etc

Fair     The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
           The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced

Poor    The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

Bad     The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler
