Description
Here's an extremely rare 180 gram vinyl test pressing of an unissued mono remaster of A Hard Day's Night, pressed in late 2011 at the defunct Rainbo pressing plant in LA. We've determined that the Rainbo matrix numbers (S-77085/6) correspond to roughly November 2011, according to the plant's pressing schedule. Evidently, this was made for Capitol's Beatles in Mono series, but was shelved for over two years, when a subsequent pressing was released with different matrix etchings in 2014. The record is near-mint. Matrix etchings are as follows:
Side 1: S-77085 U
Side 2: S-77086 8 i...i
