Up for auction is an extremely nice example of the Beatles classic "A Hard Day's Night" on the original UK yellow/black Parlophone label in solid near mint condition. These original UK LP's have become extremely sought-after worldwide for their stunning sound quality, and high level of collectability. These UK versions are muc scarcer than the US LP's and have become highly desirable as investment grade pieces. I have seen copies of this LP go for as much as $300 in this condition and my reserve is less than half of that amount. Don't miss your chance to own a NM copy of this LP at a reasonable price.
CONDITION
COVER- The cover grades a solid NM- to VG++ condition with no writing, ringwear, seamspilts, or any other significant issues. All colors and bright and vibrant and the back cover is still snow white with almost no signs of aging. This varitaion features the small "stereo" logo at the top right corner. This is a stunning example!
VINYL- The disc grades a strong NM- with both sides appearing pristine and unmarked in normal light with no scratches or scuffs. Under a bright halogen light a few whispy sleeve lines are visible but you have to look very close to see them. I suspect that this copy will play faultlessly. The matrix numbers are YEX 126-1 and YEX-127-1
LABELS- The labels NM with no writing or wear of any kind. The outer rim lists "The Gramophone Co."
INNERSLEEVE- Original EMI innersleeve with ads in nice condition.
