THE BEATLES:- Songs from the film "A HARD DAYS NIGHT"  Original 1964 UK Yellow / Black label Parlophone PMC 1230 Mono LP with EJ Day Sleeve , complete with correct Emitex Liner Sleeve

With the album comes an 'Outstanding Records For Your Collection' Parlophone Insert, listing EMI LP releases , including 'Please Please Me' and 'With The Beatles'

These Inserts were distributed by EMI to Retail Outlets in 1963 / 64 , some were put inside LP sleeves , some displayed on counters for customers perusal............Most were discarded and very hard to find now.........a lovely piece of ephimera : The Insert has very light ageing only : EXCELLENT condition.

The Beatles: John Lennon (vocals, guitar, harmonica); George Harrison (vocals, 6- & 12-string guitars); Paul McCartney (vocals, bass); Ringo Starr (drums). Additional personnel: George Martin (piano). Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London, England and EMI Pathe Studios, Paris, France. This was the first Beatles album of all-original material, and the first to feature George Harrison playing his Rickenbacker electric 12-string guitar (on the opening chord of "A Hard Day's Night," for instance). The distinctive sound of the 12-string inspired countless guitarists including Roger McGuinn and David Crosby of the Byrds. The film from which these songs hail remains a classic combination of happy 1960s naivete and nascent hipster wit. Many of the most important rock bands to emerge in the latter half of the '60s came into being because of A Hard Day's Night's irresistible vibrancy. The tunes flow like the finest red wine, as the title track leads to the glorious harmonica of "I Should Have Known Better" and the powerfully poignant "If I Fell."

Condition of Vinyl:- Both sides of the disc have very light wear only ............... just a couple of small , very light surface traces only (very small and light!) ............. Outstanding sound quality throughout : The Disc is Easily Graded at EXCELLENT condition.

Front: The front laminate has light use only ........... bright , crisp and clean ......... just a few very small , light crease traces .......... No edge or spine wear ........ one light corner tap

Rear: The rear panel has light ageing only ............. quite clean ........... no flip wear

The Sleeve is Graded at EXCELLENT condition.

Awsome!!, padded out with grossly long winded descriptions , many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and incorrect to actual facts , and would be laughable , but for the fact that it is misleading........ I take time and care to grade items correctly and only list quality records, with concise and accurate grading descriptions......................

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest!) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists live too (I saw The Beatles twice........and Segovia!)
