Beatles

Capitol Collection Orange Label

These records were part of my fathers collection, he passed last year and I've been selling his things.

There are only 6 records in the pictures but 7 are in this lot

The unpictured 45 is Get Back - 2490, not in its original jacket, vinyl is mint, label is near mint (has a small sticker on the "B" side and what looks like the glue residue from a sticker on the "A" side.

The 45's included in addition to Get Back - 2490 are:

(pictured) And I Love Her - 5235, I Want To Hold Your Hand - 5112, HELP - 5476, A Hard Day's Night - 5222, Paperback Writer - 5651, Day Tripper - 5555

All these are in great shape and played very well. All these records are mono pressings with the exception of A Hard Day's Night and Get Back.

I'm not sure if the jackets are original or not. All are Capitol Records jackets but are all different. All seams are intact and showing minimal ring wear with a few small rips on 3 of them.

The vinyl shows no wear or surface scratches and looks/plays mint on all 7 records.

YES THERE IS MORE VINYL AND NO I WILL NOT SEND A LIST (dad catagorized/printed the entire list and it's a book 2in thick)

NO I WILL NOT ADD A "BUY IT NOW"

My father loved music, he collected it from 1958 untl the day he passed. I want everyone to have the same fair chance to buy his vinyl and will let each record go to auction end. There are a lot of collectors that would appreciate them as much as my father AND a lot of dealers that merely wanna flip for profit. I think dad would have preferred his vinyl go to someone that wanted it for the same reasons he did....not someone that just wanted to make a quick buck. I can't control who buys these records but keeping it fair won't weed out the little guy. I had an appraiser come look at the collection, he kinda went through it and pull some of what he thought would sell quickest and would draw attention to future auctions. I'm not putting it up in any specific order, it's a lot and I gotta start somewhere. I will be offering bulk lots, collections and box sets.

If you have any questions please ask before bidding. I have several reference books to help with details of my descriptions and I'll do the best I can to describe each record. I'm test playing records that look as they've been played previously. Some of the collection is unopened and I will NOT open for test playing. I'm using a Garrard Zero 100c turntable with new stylus, Pioneer Spec-1, Pioneer Spec-4 and Digital Phase AP-2's for test playing.

Buyer pays all shipping - I will ship FedEx/UPS Ground or USPS Flat Rate, USPS Media Mail or USPS Parcel Post with in the US. All international shipping will be USPS Global Express or USPS Flat Rate International.

I will combine shipping, just send me a message before auction(s) end.

Thanks and happy listening
