The BEATLES 45. Canada Capitol Super Rare Target WHITE DOT Labels. Issued in 1971 only from Canada’s Capitol label. The Beatles 7th unique (non-US) Capitol single in Canada, pressed on Red-Orange Target labels very briefly!! Matching the 22 same label US Capitol Target White Dot Beatles singles. This 45 Vinyl Condition is Goldmine EX. Nice and shiny and maybe a scuff or two, but very clean and plays thru very well. A great copy! And labels have no writing, just small label tear or stain on A Side, with tape over! Very little wear! Very nice, EX!! Still awesome for 55 year old vinyl. Note: matrix numbers are written on paper note attached to Company Sleeve, with dashes and suffixes as listed plus unique “No 1” and “No 3” notations (SEE PHOTO 6). But it’s in such great shape! SUPER Collectable from Canada and as an add on to the US 22 White Dot Targets. This is the only “Canada Nine” pressed with White Dot!!! Here are 2 songs from the early Beatles: TWIST AND SHOUT and THERE’S A PLACE. This was NOT issued as a single in UK, but shipped to Canada and released as a single to compete with the TOLLIE (VJ) single in US. This is one of the “Capitol Canada Nine”, singles on the Yellow/Orange Swirl labels that were NOT released on Capitol in USA. Canada also issued at least 7 other Beatles Target White Dot 45s, but not the full set of 19 as in US!! (SEE PHOTOS 6-7). ALSO: this includes a Capitol Target Capitol Company Sleeve graded EX. Standard company sleeve with White Dot records! Both sides here are MONO as are all US and Canada Capitol Beatles 45s until Get Back. Stereo did not become common on 45s till 1969!
