The BEATLES UK 1995 TRIPLE LP Set release of the BEATLES “ANTHOLOGY 1”. This was originally from late 1995 released in conjunction with the first of three part TV Anthology, plus the release of the “NEW” Beatles single FREE AS A BIRD. This contains mostly rare takes or out-takes of many Beatles songs put together by their original master producer Sir George Martin. Of course all material came from previous recording sessions or BBC or live shows or home tapes, etc. ANTHOLOGY 1 covers their history from teen years to Hamburg to Beatlemania into 1964!! This one is still produced by George Martin!! Still Fantastic!! As always!! And again another of the worlds most iconic covers on a record album! A beautiful cover! Actually part One of Three parts that make great collage!! And they were issued also as 3 separate 500 piece jigsaw puzzles, very cool!’ is graded Goldmine NM because it is factory SEALED, I bought this copy SEALED!! It is UNPLAYED!! It is UNOPENED!! And this limited UK edition was pressed with wonderful Apple labels. Remember, 3 LPs in this set!! See photos 1-2 for actual sale item!! These are black vinyl copies, beautiful!! Other photos are used to show the expected Apple labels plus some group shots just for fun!! The album is truly Near Mint!!! I doubt EMI will ever reissue this vinyl LP again, so sealed copies are limited!! GET ONE WHILE YOU CAN!!! So many of these songs were now on Capitol/Apple for the first time, thru EMI, rather than bootlegs or secondary labels. These are Official Beatles re-do cleaned up versions. Of course every song is an historic classic, even today, over 50 years later. The Beatles aimed at getting the LP to market to go with The FREE AS A BIRD new 45 Single track, put together by Oaul, George, and Ringo working with a zJohn Lennon demo tape. Magical!! And most songs on This LP set were originals written by Lennon-McCartney, and George Harrison. They all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the Boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! This is a beautiful record, quite wonderful sounding, this would have been a huge hit album if it had been released in the 60s!! This LP is well kept factory SEALED and in plastic sleeve since its purchase by me in 1999! I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible, especially one of these “new” reissues which I thought would become rarer and greatly treasured!!
