BEATLES 1ST PRESS UK 45 LADY MADONNA WITH FAN CLUB INSERT PARL R 5675
On offer is a 1ST PRESS BEATLES 45rpm single entitled LADY MADONNA c/w THE INNER LIGHT released on PARLOPHONE R 5675 in the UK in 1968. This has the rare Fan Club insert that was only issued in limited numbers and for a limited period when the single first came out. The single is in LOVELY EX to EX+ condition. It plays great and the RARE FAN CLUB INSERT is fully intact and in EX condition.
· The record is in lovely EX to EX+ condition and it plays great on my BOSE hi-fi – with a full dynamic range.
· The Fan Club insert is in Excellent Condition. This insert has an order form with instructions as to how the recipient could order a free Full-Sized Beatles photo poster and he or she could apply to join The Beatles FAN CLUB. This original FAN CLUB INSERT - for sale here – was NOT filled in or detached and is COMPLETE and in EXCELLENT condition. Please see my scans of both sides of the rare insert.
· The 45 has ‘THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD ....’ text on the rim of the disc and has ‘SOLD IN UK…’ text on the label.
· It is housed in its (NICE CONDITION) original Parlophone label sleeve (see scans). The disc matrix is: 7XCE 18438-3 and 7XCE 18439-2.
This is a rare 1st press LADY MADONNA as there are not all that many that come up for sale with the FAN CLUB insert still intact. This has been in my personal collection for over 40 years and has been well looked after over the years.
