Description
This is an ORIGINAL 1982 CAPITOL RECORDS U.S. FIRST PRESS STEREO LP titled '20 Greatest Hits' from The Beatles. It is Capitol Records U.S. catalog number SV-12245, early 1980s purple Capitol labels, with the original factory shrinkwrap still surrounding the cover and with the original round red hype sticker still affixed to the shrinkwrap over the upper right area of the front cover. - Side One/Two and the publishing credits and recording dates on the back are in light blue print and bottom credit text in gray. There is a typo error on side 1 label, A10, giving "Yesterday" a running time of 1:04, instead of 2:04. This was corrected shortly after this initial run. Round red hype sticker on the shrink wrap "Contains 20 #1 Hits". Custom inner sleeve with Beatles photo collage.

Condition of record is a beauriful NM- with just a couple of extremely light and barely visible sleeve marks which are not the result of use. Condition of custom inner sleeve is also real nice EX with just a couple of slight creases near one upper corner - NO splits or tears. Condition of cover is EX with the original factory shrink-wrap still surrounding the cover, and with one very tiny brown mildew spot and a tiny bit of wear along the open edge and on the corners, and a little bit of brown mildew on the round red hype sticker. This LP would be a very nice addition to any Beatles record collection! Media mail postage within the U.S. is $4.00.
