Description
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

Rare Original Apple Press in Parlophone Export Sleeve!
This listing is for an original 1st press copy of the Beatles LP Let It Be. This record has the original dark Apple label but the cover is the original export sleeve which features the Parlophone logo on the back and export catalogue number on the spine of PPCS 7096
These sleeves were only ever manufactured in tiny, tiny quantities to go with the UK export copies that were printed on the Parlophone label. I guess that a few of these sleeves ended up being used for domestic press discs to keep on top of demand, due to an error, or a few were left over when the Parlophone export issue was deleted from the catalogue.
Either way, the original export sleeves are insanely hard to find!

Title Let It Be Year of Release 1970 Catalogue Number PCS 7096 (PPCS 7096 on the cover) Label Dark Apple Tax Code on Disc - Sleeve Manufacturer Garrod and Lofthouse Side 1 Matrix Number YEX 773-3U Side 2 Matrix Number YEX 774-2U Side 1 Stampers 2 / GRR Side 2 Stampers 4 / GOO Cover Condition The cover is in VG+ condition. The cover is holding up nicely and looks clean, but does have some light rubbing on the laminate and some creasing as you can see in the photos below. There's also a small laminate buubble bottom right of the front cover. The seams are both holding fine and the spine is complete, unsplit and fully legible. Inner Sleeve Condition The inner sleeve is in EX- condition. The inner sleeve is clean and predominantly flat with just a little disc impression and light browning around the edges. There's a split of about 2 1/2" in the middle of the bottom seam. Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in VG- condition. The disc has a nice shine to it but has a fair amount of light scuffs all over - moreso on side 2. But there's nothing serious or nasty looking. Label Condition The labels are in VG+ condition. Labels are clean but have a fair amount of light spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
