After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare 1969 pressing of the Beatles UK Parlophone single 'Help / I'm Down'.
I'm a little confused with this pressing. It appears that this was pressed in 1969 as it has high mother / stamper codes and has the little indent around the centrehole in the pushout. However, the labels have the old, original 1965 design with the chubbier typeset and Parlophone rimtext on both sides. Maybe EMI found some old label stock when they were running off a batch in 1969 and decided to use them?
Either way, this is an exceptionally rare variation of this classic single, and in a very respectible condition to boot! Comes in an original Parlophone company sleeve. I'm not sure if it's the original but it was the one the single came in when I bought this years ago.

The company sleeve is holding up nicely with no splits or tears, but it is showing some creases, disc impression and wear around the opening. There's also a little damage in the middle hole on the back and front at the 6 o'clock position. Showing its age, but holding okay. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : EX-

The playing surface has a lovely shine to it. Side 1 just has a little light, faint scuffing in places but, overall, looks great! Side 2 is more of the same but there's a light, faint but noticeable scuffmark at the top. It's purely cosmetic, though.

The labels are clean, crisp and clear with bright text. There'sjust one or two little, faint, light bit of spindlewear and pretty much no whitening around the centrehole. A small x has been made in black pen on each label.

All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
