The Beatles - 'A Collection Of Beatles Oldies (But Goldies !)'. PCS 7016
The Beatles 1969 UK ONE EMI BOX pressing of the 'A Collection Of Beatles Oldies (But Goldies !)' LP. Originally released on the 10th December 1966, this one EMI box label design had a very short pressing run only available in 1969. It is offered here in WONDERFUL EXCELLENT condition complete with a rare ‘STEREO’ stickered sleeve.
Pressed on HEAVYWEIGHT 1960’s thick vinyl. Both labels have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd....' rim print and ‘Made in GT Britain’ text along the bottom. This changed after 1969 to a much more common two EMI box label design.
The vinyl is housed within the original 1969 STEREO STICKERED front laminated outer sleeve with flipbacks. A great example which is surprisingly rare like this.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1: YEX 619-1G 2 MA
Side 2: YEX 620-1G 2 MG
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT+ condition.
The sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. I will also include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.
