The Beatles 1969 UK 2nd pressing of the ’Magical Mystery Tour' E.P. It is offered here in STUNNING UNPLAYED? MINT-/MINT- condition. The ultimate final upgrade.
This 1969 issue failed to chart on release and is now a rare label variation to find. All labels have ‘The Gramophone Co.Ltd….’ rim print BUT NO ‘SOLD IN UK’ text. The sleeve comes fully complete with the booklet and yellow lyric insert sheet (not blue as found with the 1967 release) and red STEREO sticker to the front cover.
This may well be a contract pressing due to the very unusual matrix numbers below. Parlophone/EMI used a number then letter coding system. This features an all number coding system. A SPECTACULAR MINT-/MINT- pressing. I doubt this can be improved upon.
The matrix numbers are:
Side 1: 7TCE 18435-3 2 38
Side 2: 7TCE 18434-3 1 2
Side 3: 7TCE 18436-2 1 162
Side 4: 7TCE 18437-3 1 1
The vinyl is in MINT- condition.
All labels are in MINT- condition.
The sleeve is in MINT- condition.
