PLEASE READ FIRST!
I'm having to make this even clearer as people are still buying records I'm grading low and as a 'collection filler', and then complain about the audio quality when they try to play them. As I do not own a record player I VISUALLY GRADE my records, so I cannotguarantee that discs will be click, skip and noise free (although any marks that may cause such problems will be highlighted in the description).
All photos are of the actual item on sale. I do not use stock or 'borrowed' images.

Original Mono Pressing! Complete Set!
On offer here is an original mono 1st press copy of the Beatles LP The White Album. This is the complete set housed in its original, mono top-opening sleeve and includes the four photos, the poster and the two black inner sleeves.
This was the last original Beatles' album to have a full mono mix (Yellow Submarine was just a stereo fold-down into mono). Subsequantly most of the tracks have both subtle and blatant differences to their stereo counterparts! Beatle completists love the mono white album because of these differences, and as the mono pressing sold so poorly back in 1968 demand for them today is extremely high!
By 1968 mono was pretty much a dead format. Stereo records coming down in price to be the same as their mono counterparts along with the price of stereo record players drastically dropping meant that everybody bought stereo and the mono copies were left on the shelf. Mono sales dropped so much that by 1969 it was discontinued completely as a format across all labels. Because of this, stereo copies of this album far outsold the mono copies!
A really nice, clean example of this very rare and extremely collectible album!

Title The Beatles (White Album) Year of Release 1968 Catalogue Number PMC 7067/7068 Label Dark Apple with Sold in the UK Statement Tax Code on Disc - Sleeve Manufacturer Garrod & Lofthouse Side 1 Matrix Number XEX 709-1 Side 2 Matrix Number XEX 710-1 Side 3 Matrix Number XEX 711-1 Side 4 Matrix Number XEX 712-1 Side 1 Stampers 5 / RL Side 2 Stampers 5 / GDO Side 3 Stampers 3 / GGA Side 4 Stampers 4 / AR Cover Condition The cover is in EX- condition. The sleeve is holding up perfectly with no splits in the seams or anything, although the corners are just a little rounded. There's a very small tear at the top on the opening as you can see in the photos below. The cover has creamed everso slightly but is still amazingly clean with a clean, sharp shiny laminate. Great condition! Inner Sleeve Condition The inner sleeves are in EX condition. Both look nice and flat with just light disc impression a just a little creasing in the corners. No splits or tears bar a couple of little catches on the label window where it looks likea disc, in the past, may have caught it. See the photos below! Inserts Condition The poster is in EX++ condition. The poster is looking amazingly well and looks like it's barely been out of the sleeve. Lovely and flat with no real visible creasing, and with all seams sharp and unworn. No tears or anything! Lovely condition!The photos are in EX++ condition. The photos are in really nice, clean condition with just very light creasing here and there - but prodominantly flat. No pin or sticker marks and just a little, faint horizontal scuff on George (although it looks most likely to be a manufacturing defect).
Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) Disc 1 is in VG+ condition. The disc has a nice, sharp shine to it but has some light fingerprints - a professional clean would get these off. There's also some light scuffing and marking but nothing at all nasty or serious looking.
Disc 2 is in EX condition. The disc has a really nice, sharp, clean shine to it and just a little, light, faint scuffing here and there. Very nice condition!
Label Condition The labels on disc 1 are in VG+ condition. Both labels are clean with no writing or labels, but does have a some light spindlewear and a little whitening around the side 1 centre hole.The labels on disc 2 are in EX+ condition. Both labels are clean with no marks or stickers and have just a little, very light spindlewear with a touch of whitening visible on the side 3 centre hole.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
Records are posted out tracked and insured (where applicable) to comply with eBay and PayPal seller protection policy.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve and extra
sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable.
My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.price rating
