Description

This is the original UK LP by the BEATLES, SGT.PEPPER'S LONELY HEART CLUB BAND, MONO, 1967 2nd Press, PMC 7027, OMITING 'DAY IN A LIFE' ON SIDE 2's LABEL, MEGA RARE!!!!, with the "GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD" credits around the rim of the label, and "Sold in the UK" label credits. Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:-  XEX 637-1, SIDE 2:-  XEX 638-1, EMI stapmer codes are, SIDE 1:- 3/7 / URR, SIDE 2:- 2 / DRM. The LP comes complete with the original 12" by 12" SGT.PEPPER cut-out insert and white inner sleeve, (the 2nd press was not issued with the red and white inner sleeve).

The 1967 original UK MONO fully laminated Garrod and Lofhouse gatefold cover is in EX condition, lovely and clean, inside and outside, their is no unwanted writing, and no seam splits, the spine is fully intact and perfectly readable, their is a small scuff in the inside of the gatefold, other than that, the cover shows only minimal wear.

The vinyl is visually in VG condition, the audio grading is a strong EX, the vinyls plays superbly!, playing with crisp, clear clarity, their are a few clicks on 3 tracks, these DONOT jump or stick, playing through beautifully, and are not audibly intrusive.

The label's are in EX+ condition, lovely and clean and crisp, their is no unwanted writing, and no scuffs, all credits and text are clear and undamaged, (see pictures below).

The 12" by 12" SGT.PEPPER cut-out is in EX+++ condition, lovely and crisp and clean, with no unwanted writing, and no rips or tears.

The white inner sleeve is in EX condition, lovely and clean, with no unwanted writing, and no seam splits.

Altogether a GREAT copy of this MEGA RARE original 1967 UK MONO 2nd Pressing of the SGT.PEPPER, omiting 'Day in a Life' on the side 2's label.
