The Beatles - 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' LP. PCS 7027
The Beatles 1967 UK 1st STEREO FACTORY SAMPLE DEMO pressing of the 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' album. Released on the 1st June 1967, it is offered here FULLY COMPLETE with stereo factory sample vinyl, spelling error gatefold stereo sleeve, cutout insert and psychedelic red and white inner sleeve. It is offered here in STUNNING EXCELLENT+/EXCELLENT+ condition.
These initial early factory sample pressings would have usually been given out to reviewers, radio stations or used as quality control within the pressing plant.
This particular copy has TWO PRINTING ERRORS on the rear sleeve. The track ‘With A Little Help From My Friends’ is incorrectly listed as ‘A Little Help From My Friends’. It is spelt correctly on the vinyl label. The first line of the lyrics are also printed wrong as the song DOES NOT begin with the line “A Little Help From My Friends” as printed here but begins “What would you think if I sang out of tune”.
Released on the yellow and black Parlophone label both sides feature the 'Sold in UK....' text and have 'The Gramophone Co Ltd.' rim print. The vinyl comes housed within the original 'psychedelic flame' inner sleeve. The Sgt Peppers cutout sheet is also fully intact and in remarkable MINT- condition. The stereo vinyl comes complete with the correct STEREO ONLY sleeve which is also in wonderful condition. A superb factory sample example of this much sought after groundbreaking album in WONDERFUL condition.

Side 1. YEX 637-1 1 O
Side 2. YEX 638-1 2 H
The vinyl is in EXCELLENT+ condition.
Both labels are in EXCELLENT/EXCELLENT+ condition. One minor mark on side one.
The sleeve is in EXCELLENT+ condition.
The inner sleeve is in VERY GOOD+ condition. I will include an additional inner sleeve to protect the original.
The insert is in MINT- condition. Unused.
