Description
After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. Please check out my other listings and remember to save me as a favourite seller, as every week I'll be listing more and more increasingly rare, collectible and desirable Beatles records!
Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for a rare original 1st pressing of the Beatles legendary LP 'Revolver' on the Parlophone label. This is the mega rare early variation that features the XEX 606-1 matrix in the side 2 deadwax!
When the LP was initially put into production, side 2 had a matrix number of 606-1 and 'Remix 11' of the song 'Tomorrow Never Knows'. The story goes that when the first albums were pressed each Beatle was given a copy to listen to John listened to his and was unhappy with the track Tomorrow Never Knows, and quickly told George Martin. Production was stopped as a new master was prepared with 'Remix 8' of the song being used in replacement, and given the matrix XEX 606-2
These 606-1 presses were only in production for a very, very short amount of time before the mix of TNK was changed. Today they are highly collectible and a must for all Beatle collections!

The cover is holding up okay but is showing some wear and tear. the front has yellowed a little with a little extra browning down the mouth edge. The laminate looks nice and clean and there's some laminate creases running around the edges with some wear and rubbing to the corners. Top and bottom seams have a few little creases running through them but are holding tight with no wear, tears or splitting. The spine has some laminate creases running through it but there are no splits or anything. The back covr has yellowed noticeable with more browning down the mouth edge. There's some disc impression, moreso at the mouth edge as you can see in the photo above. The back is a little more yellow than the photo is making out. The overflaps are stuck tight but are a little yellow and have some creases in them. Overall, as I say, holding okay but showing its age. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : G+

The playing surface is looking okay but has a fair amount of light scuffing - a little moreso on side 1 than on side 2 which looks a little better. Can't really see anything too bad or serious

The labels are looking are looking okay but do have some damage. The side 1 label has some white around the centrehoel as you can see in the photo above. There's a fair amount of spindlewear and 'GrahamJones' has been written in small, black biro to the left of the £ symbol. The side 2 label also has some whitening around the centrehole, but much less than the side 1 label. There's some moderate spindlewear and 'GDJones' has been written in small, black biro to the right of the £ symbol.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
