Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

This auction is for an original STEREO 1st pressing of the Beatles LP 'Rubber Soul' on the yellow / black Parlophone label.
In 1965, when this LP was released, the stereo format was still very much a novelty. As stereophonic record players still cost a lot more than mono record players, and because stereo records cost a lot more than their mono counterparts, hardly anybody ever bought the stereo copies. Because of this, mono copies are everywhere but the original stereo copies are incredibly hard to find!

The cover is in a very decent, respectable condition! The front has a nice colour to it and a little light rubbing on the laminate and some light creases around the edges. and around the mouth edge. Top and bottom seams are holding tight although the top seam does have a couple of tiny little papertears to it. Spine is looking great with pinched top and bottom and with just a couple of little creases running through it - no tears, splits, wear or anything and with all the spinetext fully legible. The back has creamed just slightly but is still very clean with just a little, light browning down the mouth edge. Overflaps are stuck tightly and there's minimal to hardly any rubbing on the black areas. Overall, looking very decent! Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : VG
The playing surface looks like it's lost a little of its shine, but still looking very nice. There's a fair amount of light scuffs all over the playing surface along with some slightly heavier looking scuffs in a few places. Nothing at all deep or nasty, though. Looking very respectible.

The labels are clean with bright, silver text. They're looking everso slightly tired but are still free from stickers, writing, tears etc. Some light spindlewear and a little whitening around the centrehole.
