After 20 years of collecting, the time has come for me to sell my Beatles collection and let other collectors appreciate some of the records and memorabilia I've accumilated over the years. This auction is for an original 1965 STEREO 1st pressing of the Beatles LP 'Help!'. Comes in an early 'Patents Pending' sleeve!
Stereo LPs of the Beatles albums before 1967 are harder to find than their mono counterparts because stereo record players cost more than mono players back in the day, and stereo records cost more than mono. Therefore, more mono copies sold than stereo. It wasn't until '67, when these two factors were done away with, that mono instantly became an obsolete format.
A hard to find, original stereo pressing of this fantastic album!

The sleeve is holding up okay but is showing its age a little. The front cover has yellowed slightly (still pretty pale, though) with some light disc impression and rubbing down the spine side. There's also a few little laminate creases around the edges and a crease top left. The top and bottom seams are both holding tight with no wear or splits. The spine, again, has no wear or splits and is fully legible. The back has a crease top right and some light staining - one above George and one down under the EMI info. Has yellowed slightly with a little extra light browning down the mouth edge. Overflaps are stuck tightly. Overall, decent sleeve! Disc : VG
The playing surface has lost a little of its oiginal shine and has a fair amount of light scuffing along with a few slightly heavier looking scuffs. Overall, not too bad.

The labels are looking clean, crisp and clear with bright, silver text. There's some light spindlewear and a little whitening around each centrehole. Overall, raelly good look labelsl.

All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve. Extra sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable and FRAGILE tape used
