Description

Please be aware that all records are VISUALLY graded only - all grades are given based on how they appear under my desk lamp - since I do not own a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click and skip free, although any marks and scratches that might possibly cause such problems will be highlighted clearly in the description.

All photos are of the actual item on sale. I do not use stock or 'borrowed' images.

Currently having a clearout of records that should be considered more 'collection fillers'. Not in the best condition, but still pretty decent or hard to get ahold of.

THE BEATLES
A Hard Day's Night

This listing is for an original 1964 stereo 1st pressing of the Beatles LP 'A Hard Day's Night' on the Parlophone label.

This is the original 1st pressing with the chubby typeset. This was only used in 1964 and just for a short while before the typeset changed to Sans, which was used up to when the rimtext changed from Parlophone to Gramophone.

The original stereo copies of this record are very hard to find. Back in 1964 stereophonic record players were an expensive luxury and, doubled with the fact that stereo records cost a lot more than their mono counterpart, meant that everybody just bought the mono press. Today, the original stereo copies of the early Parlophone presses are very difficult to find as they sold so poorly back in the day.

Please check out detailed photos of this record at the bottom of this listing.
