This auction is for a very rare original STEREO pressing of the UK Parlophone LP 'With The Beatles'!
This is the very rare STEREO original press from 1963! Back in 1963 the stereo format was still in its infancy. Stereo records cost a lot more than their mono counterparts. because of this, and because stereophonic record players cost a small fortune back then, everybody bought the mono presses. The original stereo presses of the early Beatle albums sold in absolutely tiny amounts and, today, are extremely hard to find!
Features the 'Gotta' error on the sleeve but has been corrected to 'Got A' on the label. The credit for Money is Dominion Belinda (Ldn.) Ltd. NCB.
Very hard to find! Highly collectible!!

The cover is looking exceptional for its age with just a little, light, general aging. The front is looking fantastic with just a very tiny amount of dirt buildup on the laminate, still giving that lovely, thick shine that the early clean laminate on these sleeves gives. Just the very lightest hint of disc impression at the top and bottom. Corners are sharp and the opening, which is usually found very rough and worn, is remarkable sharp and crisp. The banner at the top has just a hint of browning along the top edge. Beautifully flat with no visible laminate creases around the edges!! The top and bottom seams are holding tight and look perfect with no splits or tear. The spine is looking great with no wear, splits or anything and is holding perfectly! The back is lookinfg wonderfully pale with just a couple of little, light brown spots in a few places. The overflaps are clean and holding tightly with no visible creasing in the laminate. Awesome sleeve! Inner Sleeve: VG

The original tissue paper Emitex inner is included. It's still a nice, pale colour and has some light creasing in the corners. The opening has little to no wear. The grade is low because there's a split in one of the side seams, about 4 inches long, in the middle. Other than that, holding nicely. Disc (Visually Graded Only!!) : EX+

The playing surface has a wonderfully crisp, sharp shine to it. Side 1 looks near immaculate with a sharp shine and just a tiny bit of barely visible scuffing that I can only just barely make out under my desk lamp. There is one everso slightly heavier looking little scuff at the 6 o'clock position that runs track 1. It's only really visible at certain angles under my desk lamp. Side two has a sharp shine but everso slightly less sharp than side 1. It looks like someone has taken a cloth and given this side a clean, causing this very faint scuffing that can be seen in one or two places, most notiably on the deadwax. This is very light and faint though and only just visible under my desklamp. Overall, top vinyl! So, so rare to find the disc in this condition.

The labels are looking really nice with sharp, bright silver text. There is some kind of very light white residue on the labels - probably easily cleanable. I'll let the winning bidder fix that. Both labels have just one or two very light little spindlemarks and just a touch of whitening around the centrehole. Nice labels!.
