Please be aware that I VISUALLY GRADE my records as I do not have access to a record player. I cannot guarantee that discs will be click, skip and noise free (although any marks that may cause such problems will be highlighted in the description).

Original STEREO Press with MID-SIZED Stereo Cover!
On offer here is an extremely rare stereo pressing of the Beatles debut LP album 'Please Please Me'. This is the extremely rare 2nd pressing that features the original style labels but with 'Sold in UK' statements and, more importantly, a mid-sized STEREO design sleeve!
Manufactured by Garrod & Lofthouse, this particular design came out in 1964 for an extremely short time before the more commong mid-late 60s design of the small, solid format lettering. These 'mid sized' sleeves retained the original chunky font from '63 but were much smaller, just like the format on the Hard Days Night sleeves which were in production at this same time.
Extremely hard to find and highly collectible. A great opportunity to add this rare gem to your collection!

Tax Code on Disc MT Sleeve Manufacturer Garrod & Lofthouse Side 1 Matrix Number YEX 94-1 Side 2 Matrix Number YEX 95-1 Side 1 Stampers 1 / RR Side 2 Stampers 1 / GL Sleeve Condition The sleeve is in VG+ condition. The sleeve is holding fine with no splits, tears or damage or anything, just some light creasing and a little age-related discolouration. Seams are holding tight and spine is fully legible with zero damage or creasing. A really nice example of this mega rare sleeve! Inner Sleeve Condition - Inserts Condition - Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The disc is in VG condition. Has a nice shine to it, but has a fair amount of faint, light scuffing along with some slightly heavier marking in places. Nothing serious or nasty looking, however. Label Condition The labels are in EX- condition. Both labels are clean with no writing, damage or stickers etc. Side 2 label has just a little extra whitening around the centrehole, but other than that both are looking very nice.
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.

My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.price rating
